
Women's Volleyball Finishes the Season at Simpson
Last Saturday night, Pioneer's women's volleyball competed in their last match of the season against the Simpson University Redhawks. The Pioneers were defeated in three sets at Simpson. The set scores were 21-25, 24-26, and 10-25. In the first two sets, the Pioneers played great volleyball and were able to give the Redhawks some strong competition. Madison Kindred lead the team with 6 kills. Melisa Lopez ended her season with 19 assists in the final game, and Olivia Newman with an impressive 16 digs. Claire Harlan-Maghan led the team in points with 5 kills, 2 service aces, and 2 blocks. Overall, the lady Pioneers had a good season and fought hard through some tough competition. We are looking forward to their return next season.
