In the second and final match of their road trip, the PUC Pioneers competed against the UAV Pioneers. Having defeated them in four sets earlier this season, the PUC Pioneers knew that this was going to be a competitive match. In the first set, the PUC Pioneers lost 21-25. The second set ended in a win for the PUC Pioneers with a score of 25-18. The third set ended in a 25-14 PUC Pioneers loss. The PUC Pioneers were able to pull out a 25-21 win in the fourth set to take them to a fifth and final set. Unfortunately, the PUC Pioneers were not able to hold the UAV Pioneers and lost in the fifth set with a score of 11-15. Madison Kindred led the team in kills as well as hitting percentage with a total of 12 kills through the five sets. Madison also led the team with 16 digs. Melisa Lopez was close behind with 14 digs as well as a total of 34 assists. The PUC Pioneers have 8 games left in their season, and we are looking forward to watching them play again.
