Last Thursday, Pioneer's women's volleyball competed in a match against the Park-Gilbert University Buccaneers to start off a three-game weekend. The Buccaneers are the reigning CalPac champions, and our team put up a good fight against them. Though the Pioneers lost in 3 sets, they fought hard to compete with the Buccaneers. This level of competition strengthens the team and helps to prepare them for future conference matches. We are looking forward to the next time we see these teams meet.
