WSOC Cleans Up in Lancaster

Lancaster, CALIFORNIA - The Pioneers would play against the University of Antelope Valley on October 20th. This was the Pioneers 1st of 2 games during their Southern California trip. Kickoff was at 12:30 PM PDT.

The Pioneers were coming off a 2-0 win against Providence Christian and hoped to create a win streak from this game. The Pioneers would come out strong with a goal in the 12th minute by Jazmyn Bravo, assisted by Bella Cervantes. Just 2 minutes later in the 14th minute, Bella Cervantes would get her 1st goal of the game. The Pioneers would keep pushing on as Olivia Jesse would get her 1st goal of the game in the 20th minute. Another 1st half goal would come from Isabella Huerta in the 40th minute. With this Pioneers attacking rush, the score at halftime would be 4-0.

The onslaught brought on by Pioneers would continue as just 1 minute into the 2nd half Jazmyn Bravo would get her 2nd goal of the game in the 46th minute, assisted by Olivia Jesse. Just 4 minutes later Caitilin Raymond would get a goal in the 50th minute as it was assisted by Olivia Jesse. The attacking rush kept coming as in the 59th minute Olivia Jesse would get her 2nd goal of the game, assisted by Jazmyn Bravo. Olivia Jesse got her hat trick in the 62nd minute, again assisted by Jazmyn Bravo. Pioneer defender Oluwabukunmi Babatun would get on the scoreboard with a goal in the 65th minute, assisted by Isabella Huerta. Finally, the 10th and final goal of the game came from Pioneer Bella Cervantes in the 78th minute and was assisted by Ava McInvale.

The game would end in an overwhelming 10-0 victory for the Pioneers. The Pioneers will play their 2nd and final game of their Southern California trip against La Sierra on October 22nd, and kickoff will be at 7:00 PM PDT.
