Women's Soccer Fights Hard In a Loss To Benedictine

The Lady Pioneers played Benedictine-Mesa at Bell Park for their 2nd conference game of the season during their Arizona trip. It was a scorching hot game on the turf with clear blue skies. 

The game was a back-and-forth fight in the first half with the Hawks scoring first, followed by a penalty kick scored by Olivia Jesse in the 37th minute. During the 2nd half, the Hawks would score 2 more to make it 3-1 when the final whistle blew.

It was a hard-fought match, and the Pioneers hope to come back for their next conference game against Park-Gilbert on September 22nd for their 3rd conference game of the season. Ava McInvale recorded 1 shot on goal, 2 for Bella Cervantes, and 2 for Olivia Jesse.
