MSOC takes a WIN from St. Katherines

Angwin, CALIFORNIA - On October 13th, PUC would host Saint Katherine in a CalPac matchup. The Pioneers were coming off of a close loss last game to Westcliff and were hoping to get a win. Kickoff was at 12:00 PM PDT and the sky was clear and blue with moderate temperatures.

The Pioneers came out very strong with a goal from William Biondini, assisted by Daniel Castro in the first 16 seconds of the game. The Pioneers would come back strong as Kevin Gill dribbled down the line as he passed it to William Biondidni for him to slot it away for his second goal in the 16th minute. The Pioneers would keep attacking as Issay Bravo would get a goal in the 20th minute. Saint Katherine was able to get a goal in the last 5 minutes of the 1st half from an own goal off of PUC, ending the 1st half 3-1.

William Biondini would strike again as he would score his hat trick in the 48th minute, assisted by Jordan Baumback. Just minutes later Biondini would score his 4th. Ending the game off, David Rodriguez would score his 1st goal of the season as the game finished 6-1. 4 yellow cards were given out, as well as a red card to Saint Katherine player Owen Malone.

 The Pioneers will host Providence Christian on October 15th at St. Helena High School. Kickoff will be at 7:00 PM PDT after the Sabbath.
