The Pioneers traveled down to Aliso Viejo to take on Soka University of America in hopes of getting their 3rd conference win of the season. Kickoff was at 1:30 PM with moderate temperatures and clear blue skies.
The Pioneers were put under pressure immediately in the 1st half as Soka scored in the first 8 minutes of the game. They would later score 3 more in the 22nd, 23rd, and 44th minute, finishing the 1st half 3-0.
The Pioneers would come into the 2nd half hoping to make a comeback, with the Pioneers first goal of the game coming from Vince Hang, scoring his first goal of the season. Soka would score 2 more goals to finish the game 6-1.
