The Pioneers and the Warriors faced off on an extremely hot day on the turf at William Jessup University.
The Warriors came out strong offensively as they were able to hold the score to 1-0 at halftime. But the Pioneer defense would soon falter as the Warrior offense scored 4 in the second half to make it 5-0 when the final whistle blew.
It was a tough game for the Pioneers, but many lessons were learned, and hope to reorganize themselves for their next bout.
Goalscorers for William Jessup were Luis Castillo with 2, Diego Nunez also with 2, and Isaac Morfin with 1.
The Pioneers are set to play at Holy Names University on September 8th in Oakland, California.
